(a lot smaller than expected!)
I will make it quick and brief.
Defiantly a great place to go see.
So many neat diverse places to shop, eat, browse, and just check out.
Yes, it is expensive... at places. BUT you can totally avoid those places, and make due with other great places.
Sweet places we went:
MOMA - The Modern Art museum in NYC. SO HUGE. like 8 stories? Its a whole day event so if you plan on going, plan on making a day of it!

Central Park -
Probably my favorite part of NYC. Its the biggest park ever. For all you Traverse Citians, the Open Space is probably... 1/20th of the size of Central Park. I may even be underestimating it. There is soo much going on, but everyone seems friendly, and everyones going nice constructive things. Like there was this womens' kick boxing practice? going on.
Then 50 feet away there was a group of people with their dogs just running around playing.
Then in another part there were people playing frisbee. EXTREEM frisbee. They were standing sooo far from each other and throwing it directly to the other person.
::ripped! haha:::
All around just a happy pleasant place.
We also went there at night and walked around, stumbled upon a drum circle... a castle, and some big rock... haha
:::Castle::
The main inspiration for the trip... Battles first 2009 and only US show, also playing new material. Chk Chk Chk, Flying Lotus, and Pivot. What a great show, weird venue, but cool. My camera screen shattered on the way to the show... :( devastating... but I played blind photographer anyways.

AMAZING restaurants, and I didn't find them too pricey...
Places we ate at:
Soy and Sake - OMG... best vegetarian chinese food EVER. Sometimes I think about buying a ticket out there, just so I can eat there. Sesame chicken, and teriyaki chicken.. Mmmm!!
:::this little guy was in the huge and most beautiful fish tank i've ever seen!:::
Atlas Cafe - Mmmm taste cookies, soo good. good ravioli as well
Vinny's Pizza - In Brooklyn, wildest creations. I had the Hamburger helper? or maybe the Mac attack? It was great none the less.
Ate at 2 ice cream places, both were great. Can't remember the names to.
Super yummy french roast at this really fancy place. mm soo good. can't recall the name.
Ate at this hole in the wall falafel shop, 2 falafel and a soda for $5. sooo good and soo cheap!
Stricktly Roots, this raw food place with gingerbread. not like gingerbread gingerbread.. like banana break but ginger...? it was soo tasty!
Oh boy, where else? Lance help me out if i forgot anything.
..:::Goodbye NYC:::..
